For competitors aged 11 to 13 years
Each element of the scholarship will be performed by all competitors before moving onto the next element

Elements will be performed in the following order

Poem – 4 minutes
Sight Reading
• Competitors will have one minute preparation time
Character Sketch – 4 minutes

202 SENIOR.....

For competitors aged 14 to 20 years only.
Each element of the scholarship will be performed by all competitors before moving onto the next element

Elements will be performed in the following order

Poem – 4 minutes
Impromptu Speech - 3 minutes
• Topic to be chosen by the Adjudicator
• Two minutes preparation time will be allowed when brief notes may be made.
• Palm cards with notes will be allowed on stage.
• Warning bell will be rung at 2.5 minutes
Character Sketch – 5 minutes

Prize: $700.00 + Perpetual Trophy + Replica and Certificate

Entry Requirements.....

Scholarship competitors must enter and perform in their appropriate age
Character Sketch and either age Recitation or Australian Verse.

The winner will not be eligible to enter in the Youth Scholarship in 2013,
unless advancing from Junior to Senior.
