Instrumental ensembles may be programmed in evening sessions. Section 157 CLASSICAL TRIO OR QUARTET Primary school age. Time limit 4 minutes Must be music from the classic repertoire. No pop, rock or jazz First Medals, Second Medals, Third Medals Section 158 CLASSICAL TRIO OR QUARTET Secondary school age. Time limit 6 minutes Must be music from the classic repertoire. No pop, rock or jazz First $50, Second $30, Third $20 Section 159 CLASSICAL TRIO OR QUARTET OPEN. Time limit 8 minutes Must be music from the classic repertoire. No pop, rock or jazz First $60, Second $40, Third $20 Section 160 INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE Primary school age. 11 or more players. Time limit 6 minutes Any combination of instruments which may include but not consist entirely of strings, recorders, or percussion. This section is not intended for rock groups, stage bands, concert bands or orchestras. First Trophy, Second Trophy, Third Trophy Section 161 INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE Secondary school age. 11 or more players. Time limit 8 minutes Any combination of instruments which may include but not consist entirely of strings, recorders, or percussion. This section is not intended for rock groups, stage bands, concert bands or orchestras. First Trophy, Second Trophy, Third Trophy Section 162 INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE OPEN 5 to 12 players. Time limit 6 minutes Any combination of tuned or untuned percussion. First Trophy, Second Trophy, Third Trophy Section 164 PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE Secondary school age. 11 players or more. Time limit 6 minutes Any combination of tuned or untuned percussion instruments. First Trophy, Second Trophy, Third Trophy Section 165 STRING ENSEMBLE Primary school age. 5 or more players. Time limit 4 minutes May have piano accompaniment First Trophy, Second Trophy, Third Trophy Section 166 STRING ENSEMBLE Secondary school age. 5 or more players.
